    How long does it last once opened?

    • We put an expiration date on it as 2 years. If you refrigerate it after opening, it will last that long. You can choose to leave it out (as we do), you may just have to stir it once in a while.

    Can this be used to make chocolate covered cream candy?

    • That isn’t something we have tried, but it sounds delicious! The maple cream is a consistency that is thinner/runnier than that kind of filling at room temperature though, so the only way I think it would work is if it was refrigerated or even frozen. You may have better luck making your own filling using maple syrup in combination with butter and confectioners sugar (see this recipe I found after a little googling – https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/easter-egg-buttercream-candies/).     I never heard of maple cream. How is it used?

    • It’s a non-dairy maple spread. You can put it on toast, waffles, in your coffee, in your oatmeal… I like to dip pretzel sticks or apple slices in it. You could also you it as frosting on baked goods.
