Description

Aged in reclaimed oak barrels, our syrup is imbued with the complex flavors left over from past spirits. These barrels were first used to age Kentucky Bourbon, smoothing the harsh tannins and toasted notes from the wood. A second aging with either brandy or scotch whisky further mellows the barrel so that it is ready to share its flavors with our maple syrup.

Nova Maple Syrup is family produced in Northwest Pennsylvania, sustainably harvested from our own hardwood forests. We pride ourselves on making the best syrup possible, and are confident you’ll enjoy eating it as much as we enjoy making it! Use it on sweets, meats, and breakfast treats.

No chemical/organic herbicide/pesticides are used in the production of this syrup. The glass jug is 100% BPA free and hot packed/sealed for safety. No artificial flavors, preservatives or dyes. Gluten and dairy free.

This bourbon barrel aged maple syrup comes in a special edition glass pint bottle.

How is this intended to be used?

    • jake says:

Hi Heidi, great question! You can pretty much use these anywhere you’d use regular syrup. You may want to skip cooking with it since it is more expensive and some of the flavors may be lost in the recipe, it’s really perfect for a topping!

  2. Cynthie says:

What volume is the bottle? How many ounces? Can’t find the info anywhere.

    • jake says:

Hi Cynthie, The containers are one pint. It’s up in the top short description but we’ve added it to the body of the description too now. It was always in our product title on Amazon before it was listed on our website but we overlooked that. Thanks for the question!

This is so good in my coffee.

  4. Scott says:

The apple brandy is my favorite. I agree that it is wonderful in coffee and is a lethal addition to my white chocolate butterscotch oatmeal cookies. I can’t wait to try some in my home made butterscotch pudding recipe. Bread pudding. The possibilities are endless.
