Summer means…Strawberry shortcake!
Living on a maple farm means living in the country. We have several Amish neighbors and if you don’t already know – they are the best people to get strawberries from. Fresh, juicy, and flavorful!
We decided to use some of the strawberries we bought to make strawberry shortcake last night. Of course, instead of adding regular sugar, we opted for Nova maple sugar!
These are really easy to whip up quickly using Pillsbury dough (we used Grands, but you could use crescent rolls) and cool whip.
As you can see, our 3-year-old was patiently waiting to chow down after we finished taking a quick picture!
