Solar Panel Installation

Yesterday we broke ground on our solar panel installation, which should be completed later this week! In the end we’ll have 50x 285 Watt panels that will generate the majority of the electricity used to make syrup. We use lots of power, the Reverse Osmosis unit costs about $2 an hour to run for about 5 hours a day and the vacuum pump costs around $0.50 per hour but runs 24/7!
